今日の話は...
There are many challenging aspects to being a freelance teacher. For example, because I do not work at an English school or work as an ALT teacher, my schedule is very irregular. This can often make for long days, early mornings and late nights. Physically I sometimes get tired, but mentally I feel great. Even though my schedule can be difficult, I love working for myself! I have a very fulfilling job!
フリーランスになる事という事、チャレンジな面もたくさんあります。例えば英会話スクールやALTとして会社で働いていないので、スケジュールは変則的です。なので、朝早くから夜遅くまで働く事もよくあり肉体的にはとっても疲れますが、精神的には充実しています。たとえスケジュール的に厳しくても、自分で仕事を管理できる事はとても好きです！とてもやりがいを感じています！
Another challenge is acquiring contracts with companies. I am always visiting companies within Sendai
in order to offer my services as an English teacher. I never get nervous when entering a company, I look forward to the experience! However, because my Japanese is not perfect, it can often
be challenging when discussing contract details. Nevertheless, it's always a learning experience and I am constantly improving my Japanese language abilities.
その他のやりがいのある事といえば、新たな会との契約を獲得する事です。いつも仙台市内の会社に英語の先生として訪ねます。その時は緊張はあまりせず、とても楽しみにしています！ただ、日本語がパーフェクトではない為、契約時の内容の話合いにはチャレンジだなと思う時もあります。それでもいつも経験で何か学ぶ事もでき、日本語の上達にもなっています。
Finally, as a freelance teacher it can sometimes be difficult to finish a lesson on time! My students
are more than students to me, they are my friends, so I really enjoy our conversations together. I often find it hard to end an interesting conversation when the lesson time has finished!
Unfortunately though, I have to be careful or I could be late for the next lesson!!
最後にフリーランスでの英語の先生として時々難しいなと感じる事は、レッスン時間が予定していた時間では終わらない事！けれど、生徒さんはただの生徒というよりは、私にはもっと友達のように近く感じられ、彼らとの会話は本当に楽しいです！レッスンの終了時間が迫り、生徒さんとの楽しい会話を途中で終わりにしなければいけない時がとても難しいです！ですが、次のレッスンには遅れる事はできないので気をつけなければいけません！
There are definitely challenges that come with being a freelance English teacher, but I really enjoy
what I do and I intend to continue teaching English in Sendai for a very, very long time!
英語の先生としてフリーランスになるという事は本当にチャレンジな事といえますが、本当楽しく、やりがいのある仕事を長い間仙台で続けていこうと思っています！！
