I didn't use to... = 以前...しなかった。
Many students ask me about my past. They often ask me about things I did and didn't do when I was
living in Canada. Here are some things I did and didn't do in the past.
沢山の生徒さんに私の過去について聞かれます。カナダに住んでいた時にした事としなかった事について聞かれます。過去にした事としなかった事はこれです。
・I used to go to house parties, in high school. House parties are very common in Canada. Teenagers in Canada often invite many friends to their houses for a party when their parents are
away! It's a lot of fun... But our parents usually get very angry when they come back home!!
高校の時、友達のうちのパーティーによく行きました。ティーンエイジャーの頃は家族が旅行など出掛ける時は、家で沢山の友達とパーティーをしてとっても楽しいのですが、、、家族が帰ってくると、、かなり怒られます！！
・I used to go camping with my friends on the weekend. Canada has many camp sites. We would often go camping and have 'outdoor parties'.
以前は私は週末に友達とキャンプをしました。カナダではキャンプをできる場所は沢山あります。私と友達はよくキャンプに出かけ、”アウトドア パーティ”をしました。
・I didn't use to study Muay Thai. I was always very interested in Muay Thai, but there was nowhere to learn it in my hometown. I have been doing Muay Thai in Sendai for over a year now and
I love it!
私は以前はムエタイをしませんでした。前から興味はあったのですが、近所では習えるところはありませんでした。今、仙台で1年弱習っていますが、とっても大好きです！
・I didn't use to use computers. When I was younger I hated computers! I only used them when I had to. Now, I use my computer every day!
以前は全くパソコンを使いませんでした。若いときはパソコン大嫌いでした！使った時といえば、どうしても必要に迫られるときのみでした。今では、毎日使うので必要不可欠です!
・I used to watch American football every weekend. I am a big fan of American football. When I was in high school and college, I would watch American football with my very good friend
Pearce. I really miss those times...
以前はよく週末にアメリカンフットボールを観戦しました。私は大ファンです。高校、大学の時には友人のピアースさんと観ました。。とても懐かしいです。。。
