私はこれまで10年以上英語を教えています。そこで生徒さんにたくさん面白い質問されたことがあります。今日はその質問の答えのPart 1です。

Question - Why did you come to Japan?

質問 - どうして日本に来ましたか？

Answer - When I graduated from college in Canada, my best friend was living and working in Japan. My friend is Canadian and he was teaching English at that time. I wanted to try living and teaching in another country, I was considering many countries, for example Brazil, Chile, Thailand etc. 

答え - 私はカナダの大学を卒業した時、親友カナダ人でもうすでに日本に住んで英語を教える仕事をしていました。私もどこかの国に住んで何か教える仕事をしたいと考えていました。例えばブラジル、チリ、タイとか。

My best suggested that I come to Japan. He said 'Japan is great!', 'The seasons are beautiful!', 'Japanese women are beautiful!', 'You should come to Japan!'.

色々考えた結果、私も日本に行こうかと考えいることを親友に話したところ、彼は、``日本はすごくいいところだよ！" 、"四季は美しい","日本の女性は綺麗だよ！"、"絶対日本にくるべきだよ！"

...So I did. And I'm very happy that I decided to come to Japan.

...などなど色々といってくれたので、決心がつき来ました。日本に決めて本当に良かった。

I love living in Japan, and I love my job. I am very, very lucky because I have many wonderful students, I meet new people all the time, and I never get bored with my job.

私は日本に住むのも私の仕事も大好きです。なぜなら私にはたくさんの素晴らしい生徒さんがいます、そして新しい生徒さんにも出会えるので、仕事がとても楽しいです。

Deciding to come to Japan was one of the best decisions I ever made!

日本に来ることを決めたのは、私の最高の選択の中の一つといえます！
