今日の話は...
Today's blog is continuing from yesterday's... I am really happy being a private teacher! Of course, I have a lot of experience working at English schools as well. Thanks to that work, I have had
many good experiences as a teacher.
今日のブログは、昨日の続きですが。。。 私はプライベートレッスンの先生をやれて本当に幸せです！もちろん、私は英会話スクールでの経験もたくさんあります。その仕事のおかげで英語の先生としてのよい経験がたくさんできました。
However, even more than teaching at an English school, I love teaching privately. The reason I prefer teaching
privately, is because it is difficult to become good friends with students as an English school teacher. At an English school there are many students and the teachers usually do not meet the same
students every week, it is very difficult to become close friends. As well, at an English school you usually use the same textbook, and talk about the same things, it's difficult to become more
than just teacher and student.
しかし、スクールの先生よりも私はプラベートレッスンのほうが好きです。なぜ、スクールよりもプライベートレッスンのほうがいいかと言うと、スクールでは生徒さんと親しい友達になることはほとんどできません。スクールでは生徒さんが多いので、毎週同じ人と会う事はあまりありませんので、親しくなることは少ないです。しかも、スクールでは同じ教科書を使って、ほとんど同じことについて話すので、先生と生徒という関係以上にはなりません。
However, with a private lesson, it's possible to adjust the lesson for each student and it is
easier to learn more about the student's true personality. When the teacher and student learn more about each other's character, it is easier to become friends. That is very important for
improving English skills!
しかし、プライベートレッスンですと、生徒さんに合わせたレッスンをしますので、生徒さんの性格ももっとわかるようになります。それができると、お互いをもっと知ることができて、友達になることができます。それが英語力の上達には大切なことなのです！
Doing this job has made me the happiest I have ever been in my life. I have many students and I am
very busy, but I am very motivated by my work.
今の仕事をするようになって、人生の中で一番の幸せを感じています。生徒さんがたくさんいて、とても忙しいですが、やりがいのある仕事をしています。
